Due to the CDC's (Center for Disease Control) recommendation that all routine medical care be discontinued because of the COVID19 contagion, our office is closed beginning March 23, 2020. Our goal is to reopen on April 30th, but we will monitor the situation in our community. Please call 843-573-9944 and leave us a message and one of our staff members will call you.
Dr. Michael Morabito began practicing optometry in Charleston in 2002. After a few years of learning how to practice as an eye doctor, he decided to start Palmetto Vision Care in early 2005. In 2007 he wanted to be a little closer to home on James Island and was lucky enough to find the current office location. After a couple of months of reconstruction and hard work the office was moved and the business relaunched in January of 2008. Palmetto Vision Care has been steady and growing ever since. Keeping up with technology in the industry is what we do. We are always looking for ways to improve how we do business and the results we provide our patients.
Our staff is well trained, and is continually being updated on new ways to solve vision issues. We are a forward thinking practice, and are constantly striving to use the latest in mobile and computer technology to communicate with our patients. One example is our easy appointment scheduling system. With several clicks, you can set up an appointment at your convenience.
Optometrist Charleston SC -- At Palmetto Vision Care, we believe that with enough time and conversation, we can identify ways to improve the quality of your vision. Our goal is to learn about your visual problems related to what you spend time doing. By doing this, we are able to use our experience and technology to find the right solutions. This will ultimately lead to a better quality of vision and a better quality of life. In order to do this, we employ the use of the latest ophthalmic instrumentation to provide caring, medically oriented eye exams that check for sight-threatening conditions. At the same time, our eye doctors use only the latest technology in eyeglass lenses and contact lens designs that are light years better than older versions that are still being sold.
